Flagstaff Committee Pushes To Raise Min Wage To $15

The Flagstaff Needs a Raise Political Committee has officially launched its effort to get a measure on the ballot asking Flagstaff residents to increase the city’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2021.

That’s despite Gov. Doug Ducey’s signature last month on a bill that would take away a city’s state-shared revenue if it passes an ordinance that’s in conflict with state law. Joe Bader is a spokesman for the group pushing the higher minimum wage in Flagstaff. He spoke about the initiative.
