Navajo Nation Lawmakers Approve Stimulus Bill

Navajo Nation lawmakers have approved a $150 million bill that supporters say would serve as a stimulus for the nation.

It will allocate $30 million a year for five years, in areas including water infrastructure, agriculture projects and economic development.

LoRenzo Bates, Navajo Nation Council speaker, talked about the big needs that this money would attempt to address.
