Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has been warning passengers about longer lines as more travelers are making their way through the airport. Now, they have the numbers to back that up.
A record 4.3 million passengers traveled through the airport in March. That’s almost 66,000 more people than the same time last year.
Sky Harbor said they also saw a record number of passengers using the PHX Sky Train. The train, which runs from the Valley Metro Rail at 44th and Washington streets to terminals three and four, transported almost 500,000 people during the month of March.
