Delving Into The Popularity Of The Antihero

Many of television’s most critically-acclaimed shows over the past decade or so have featured the so-called antihero — flawed protagonists like Walter White of "Breaking Bad" and Don Draper of "Mad Men."

Now the History Channel has decided the ultimate antihero of a fictionalized program should be based on a real, live person: Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. The drama will be called "Cartel."

We talked  about the popularity of antiheroes — main characters that can be difficult to like and identify with — with Praveen Kambam. Kambam is a forensic psychiatrist who has written about and presented on the topic of pop culture.
