Arizona Election Day Brings Voters, Signature Gatherers To Polls

Today is Election Day in Arizona. As voters decide Propositions 123 and 124 — and after the long lines and other problems that plagued Arizona’s Presidential Preference Election in March — all eyes were on polling places today.

KJZZ’s Matthew Casey from our West Valley Bureau spent some time earlier today at a polling place near 32nd Avenue and Camelback Road, and we checked in with him to see what was happening.

Something else voters may see at their polling places today — signature gatherers, hoping to collect enough to get initiatives referred to November’s ballot.

That includes Andrew Chavez’s company, Petition Partners. Chavez talked about being at the polls today.
