The recently-approved Arizona budget for the next fiscal year allocated $1.5 million for the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
In an overall package of more than $9.5 billion, that may not seem like much, but the current fiscal year provided zero dollars for the commission.
We spoke with Jaime Dempsey, deputy director for the commission, about what it may do with the new money.
