The national popularity of auto racing has grown dramatically. When you get that many fans, the money also expands in a powerful way.
After the recent legislative session came to a close, Gov. Doug Ducey signed a bill that could provide more than $40 million to promote races at Phoenix International Raceway over the course of 30 years.
