When Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed a lawsuit against the federal government’s directive that public schools let students use the bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identity, one of the plaintiffs was the Heber-Overgaard Unified School District.
The K-12 district in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona has about 450 students. Ron Tenney, the district’s Superintendent, talked about why the district decided to become a part of this lawsuit.
