Automated Robots Gobble Up Manufacturing Jobs

The U.S. manufacturing industry has lost thousands of jobs to overseas outsourcing or offshoring, and other positions have seen humans gobbled up by robots. The longstanding trend is happening in other countries, too.

Apple supplier Foxconn recently dropped 60,000 jobs and replaced the workers with robots.
