Legendary bluesman John Mayall is probably most famous for working with some of the best guitarists of the 20th century— including Peter Green, who later played with Fleetwood Mac; Mick Taylor, before he was with the Rolling Stones; and Eric Clapton. Now in his 80s, Mayall is still playing and touring.
"Blues is always, from my point of view, always has to move with the times because it's supposed to reflect what's going on around the world from your own viewpoint," Mayall said.
Mayall performs at the Musical Instrument Museum, on Thursday.
