The Scottsdale City Council is back on the hunt for a new city manager.
In its first round of searches, the city declined to make an offer to any of the three finalists who interviewed for the job.
“Ultimately we could not reach consensus on any of the finalists, so we will continue the search,” said Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane in a statement.
Scottsdale’s water director will continue to serve as acting city manager. It’s a post he’s held since last year after then-City Manager Fritz Behring took extended medical leave.
