Want A Day At The Beach To Relax? Maybe Not The Best Plan If You're Anxious, Study Shows

A University of Arizona study investigates how much you worry impacts your ability to enjoy different types of environments.

The study focused on neuroticism.

"Your tendency to worry of experience anxiety on a regular basis," said Merrie Brucks, a professor in the Eller School of Management at the University of Arizona and an author of the study.

The study found low-anxiety people perform self-control tasks better when exposed to nature. People with more worry are better suited to more stimulating areas such as cities.
