Thursday’s Supreme Court decisionwill deeply affect thousands of immigrants and their families in Arizona. The group Living United for Change in Arizona, LUCHA, provides information and assistance to people with questions about federal programs that allow immigrants in the U.S. illegally to obtain legal status.
“It was just very heartbreaking, but it also made me feel more empowered to continue to fight for all those families," said Stephanie Maldonado, a field organizer for LUCHA.
