The death toll has risen to six in a series of shootings that Phoenix police think may be related.
The latest victim, a 33-year-old woman, had been in a coma since June 12, when Phoenix police said she was one of three people shot outside a Maryvale home near 63rd Avenue and Palm Lane.
The incident occurred on a Sunday, and was the most recent in a string of shootings that have rocked the west Phoenix neighborhood.
Police say the murders have several things in common. They happened on weekend nights, the victims were shot in front of homes, and there is no clear motive for any of the shootings.
Phoenix police held a meeting with community members this week. Investigators are sharing information with federal agencies including the FBI. The commander of the Maryvale Estrella Mountain precinct has said his number one priority is solving the crimes.
