The concept of an impenetrable border wall has been a large part of the rhetoric of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump through the 2016 primary season. But is that wall a possibility?

According to a new poll released Monday by Cronkite News at ASU—in collaboration with Univision News and The Dallas Morning News—huge majorities of residents who live on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border don’t believe it’s needed.

Angela Kocherga is director of the borderlands bureau of Cronkite News and joined The Show by Skype to talk more about the poll.
