Don't Trash Arizona is an anti-litter campaign by the Maricopa Association of Governments.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says they collected much less roadside trash last year than they did in 2014.

ADOT and the Maricopa Association of Governments say the volume of trash has steadily declined since the launch of its Don't Trash Arizona campaign.

Last year, crews collected more than 78,000 bags of trash. In 2014, they collected more than 90,000 bags.
