Arizona State Treasurer Jeff DeWit has found a spot at the table of Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
DeWit was named the GOP presidential nominee's new Chief Operating Officer in a press release on Trump's website early Wednesday morning.
In the statement, Trump said, "I have known and worked with Jeff for a long time and he is an outstanding leader and individual who will make it possible to for us together to win this election and Make America Great Again."
DeWit had been acting as Trump’s Arizona Chairman. He’ll be replaced by Arizona State Representative Phil Lovas. There’s no indication that DeWit will be leaving his job as state treasurer.
