Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District race is without an incumbent, since Rep. Matt Salmon has decided not to seek another term.
Four candidates on the Republican side are running to claim the safe GOP seat: Andy Biggs, Christine Jones, Justin Olson and Don Stapley.
A recent poll shows Jones surging ahead. The poll was conducted in early June and shows Jones with 26 percent support compared to 7 percent in earlier polls.
