Strong storms are in the forecast across Arizona Friday and through the weekend.
Chris Kuhlman with the National Weather Service said if you haven’t received any rain during this monsoon season, this weekend is probably your best shot.
“We’ve had a great influx of moisture, probably the most we’ve had all monsoon season,” Kuhlman said.
With the possibility of rain and thunderstorms, also comes the threat of blowing dust.
The National Weather Service has issued a blowing dust advisory that goes into effect at 5 p.m. Friday.
