Climate Change Could Be Bad News For Some Southwest Birds And Reptiles

(Screen capture from "Identifying Bird and Reptile Vulnerabilities to Climate Change in the Southwestern United States)

Climate change is expected to have, and is already having, an impact on lots of areas of our ecosystem.

A new report looks at how plants and animals in the Southwest may fare in the future, and in many cases, the answer is: not that great.

The Show asked Jim Hatten, a research biogeographer for the U.S. Geological Survey, and the report's lead author for more information.
