Phoenix Police Identify Another Incident Linked To 'Serial Shooter'

Phoenix police have released a sketch of a suspect in a series of shootings that started in March.

Another case has been identified as an attack by what authorities are calling a serial shooter in Phoenix.

On the evening of July 11, Phoenix police said a suspect shot at a vehicle in a residential neighborhood near 32 Street and E. Oak Street. Two people were in the car, but neither were hurt.

This is the most recent incident connected with a serial shooter who authorities suspect shot and killed seven people since at least March, and wounded multiple others.

The last known, connected shooting was almost a month before this one, on June 12.

The reward has been raised to $50,000 for any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

Some of the past shootings were in Maryvale, and had several things in common: they happened on weekend nights, the victims were shot near homes and the motive was unclear.
