The Arizona State University campus.

Students at Arizona State University will now be able to vote in the November 8 general election. This is the first time students will be able to vote on campus.

Come Election Day, students will be able to cast their ballot at Sun Devil Fitness Center. In prior elections, students would have to go off campus to vote.

A spokeswoman for the organizations that spearheaded the effort says student groups presented several polling site options to the Maricopa County Recorder’s office.

Students will still have to go off campus for Tuesday’s primary election.
