Arizona has consistently cut taxes in recent years, and Gov. Doug Ducey has said it’s his goal to continue reducing taxes every year he’s in office. But whether tax cuts actually do much to improve the state’s business climate has been a matter of disagreement.
A report by the nonpartisan Grand Canyon Institute concludes education investment has a much more positive impact on economic performance than reducing taxes.
