Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan was scheduled to speak Wednesday night at the University of Arizona in Tucson for the McCormick Lecture.
Kagan joined the high court on August 7, 2010, making her the fourth female justice in the court’s history. Two of her predecessors—including the first female justice—Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg were written about in the book "Sisters in Law."
