Residents in Glendale are being asked to provide their input tonight about parks, recreation and library fees. The city has hired an outside consultant to evaluate public fees and determine what changes are needed.
Colorado-based Norris Design could make nearly $45,000and get reimbursed for expenses like travel. The project includes online and on-site surveys that already have been conducted. The study will examine demographics, the community’s recreation needs and how much other cities charge.
Glendale has 55 neighborhood parks, four regional parks, three libraries and offers a variety of public programs. Tonight’s meeting at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Centerruns from 5 to 7 p.m.
