ASU Program Aims To Recruit Future Teachers Before They Start College

Arizona has been facing a teacher shortage for several years now, but a program at ASU is aiming to bridge that gap  and get more potential teachers in the pipeline.

It’s called "Aim to Teach," and it involves partnerships with Mesa Community College, and high schools in districts including Peoria, Deer Valley, Gilbert, Yuma and Dysart.

Jenna Kahl is director of enrollment and outreach for the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at ASU.
