'Sully' Consultant Remembers When The Most Terrifying Day On The Job Became Her Proudest

It was January 15, 2009 when a U.S. Airways jet carrying 155 passengers and crew made an emergency landing in New York’s Hudson River.

That flight and its aftermath are at the center of the new film "Sully."

Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger was at the controls that day and responsible for landing the plane safely on the impromptu runway. His story is at the core of the new film.

To learn more, we spoke with Michelle Mohr. She was in the then-Tempe-based U.S. Airways Corporate Communications department at the time and served as a consultant on the new movie.
