The concept of early voting has been embraced by the majority of states. In 37 states, including Arizona, you can cast a ballot before Election Day.
By most accounts, it’s been a success—at least to the extent that it increases scheduling flexibility for people who really want to make sure they vote. In a column this month for National Review online, writer Jim Geraghty argues that “early voting now represents a good idea run amok.”
