A controversial advocacy group responsible for more than a thousand lawsuits against Arizona businesses has run into some trouble.

The group, Advocates for Individuals with Disabilities, has aggressively sued businesses throughout the Valley for allegedly violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Frustration in the community eventually led the Arizona attorney general to intervene. Last week, a judge granted the state’s request to consolidate many of the cases.

KJZZ's The Show catches up on the story with reporter Will Stone, who has been covering this story.
