Developing The Story Of The National Park Service's First Chief Photographer

When you think about photos you’ve seen of the national parks, a few names come to mind. But one of those names is probably not George Grant.

Grant was a staff photographer with the National Park Service – he worked for the agency from 1929-54, and took a lot of pictures of different parks across the country.

Some of them are featured in the September issue of Arizona Highwaysmagazine.

Ren and Helen Davis wrote "Landscapes for the People: George Alexander Grant, First Chief Photographer of the National Park Service." They join KJZZ's The Show.
