For the past two decades, Marco Werman has been the host of Public Radio International’s daily program, The World — a show heard on many public radio stations, including KJZZ.

The World has come to Phoenix for special shows being aired from right here in the Grand Canyon State this week, including an event being held at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in South Phoenix.

It’s being billed as a discussion on the Arizona border and the 2016 vote, and listeners are invited and encouraged to attend.

Broadcasting from KJZZ Studios this week, Marco joined us to discuss why Arizona fits the profile for The World’s series The New America.
