The town of Ajo, south of Gila Bend and west of Tucson, is now the owner of 50 new bikes.
They’re part of a partnership between Pima County, the University of Arizona and other groups. That project started more than a decade ago in three neighborhoods on Tucson’s south side.
Martha Monroy has been leading this effort. She’s with the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the U of A.
