Arizona Treated To Cooler Fall Temps

Arizona gets a fall treat with below normal temperatures in this first week of October. Meteorologist James Sawtelle, with the National Weather Service in Phoenix said it's all due to a south-moving jet stream.

"The jet stream has migrated much further south than it was earlier in the week and that gives us closer proximity to cooler air," Sawtelle said.

Sawtelle said the 80 degree temperatures will last a few more days, and by Friday the high temperature should be a more normal 93 degrees.
