Solar energy and controversy have been sharing a lot of sentences in the past couple of years. Some have been related to the need for Arizona to be more competitive, while others have focused on political campaigns and so-called dark money.
An event on Friday—the Arizona Energy Futures Conference—was intended to bring those issues to light and also provide information on demand charges, net metering and energy choices—among other things.
The conference was hosted by the Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association, and we spoke with the group’s Executive Director Lucy Mason.
