Grand Canyon National Park.

Late last month a coalition of Latino conservation organizations went to Washington in support of the Greater Grand Canyon National Heritage Monument. It is a movement to bring more diversity in the use and leadership of the parks.

Jose Gonzales is the founder of Latino Outdoors, one of the key organizing groups. The Show’s Naomi Gingold spoke with him about this Greater Grand Canyon initiative and asked him about what kind of changes he’s hoping for.
