When The Arizona Republic endorsed a Democratic presidential nominee for the first time in its history last month, it received a lot of attention from political analysts and media outlets across the country. Unfortunately, it also angered a lot of people. And some of them didn’t simply send a strongly-worded letter to the newspaper’s leaders. They issued death threats — threats that were taken seriously.
We spoke with Arizona Republic and Republic Media President Mi-Ai Parrish about those threats.
