You may have had some trouble accessing your favorite websites Friday morning. A cyberattack on a U.S. company led to widespread disruption.

A key internet firm based in New Hampshire reported it's infrastructure was hit by a cyberattack. Dyn, Inc., which provides services to major companies, including Twitter, Netflix and Visa, said services had been restored.

The level of disruption was hard to gauge. Sites like WhatsApp and Twitter have continued to experience intermittent outages through the day.

On the KJZZ web desk, we checked in with the website isitdownrightnow.com when we noticed issues with our own accounts — apparently so did everyone else — because that site was down for us, too.
