Arizona is relatively young when it comes to pro sports.
It wasn’t until the St. Louis Cardinals moved to the state in the late 1980s that the area even had more than one major league team. But the list of college and other amateur athletes is a healthy one, and that’s part of the reason the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame’s roster keeps growing.
Tonight at the Tempe Center for the Arts, the Hall of Fame will add six new names. Alan Young, CEO of the Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission, talks about tonight's ceremony.
