Information — in the form of big data — is everywhere, and it’s outpacing the capacity to figure out what it means. A number of scientists have wanted to analyze what cyber-infrastructure is. To that end, the National Science Foundation is sponsoring a 10-year project called CyVerse, which is focused on life-science research.
