Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake was one of the plainest-speaking Republican opponents of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. He openly criticized Trump and said he couldn’t vote for him. That ultimately drew the wrath of Trump, who called Flake “weak and ineffective.”
