Thousands of people lined up for a Thanksgiving meal distribution at a major Phoenix food bank yesterday.
Officials with St. Mary’s Food Bank said they handed out more than 4,000 turkeys and holiday food bags.
They report serving about 2,000 cars and an additional 1,200 people who came through the walk up area.
The food bank is still about 1,000 turkeys short of their goal though, and officials anticipate running out before distribution ends tomorrow afternoon.
