The Arizona Department of Health released its 2016 Arizona HIV/ AIDS epidemiology Annual Report.
The report shows the number of HIV-related deaths has decreased from 309 deaths in 2008 to 191 deaths in 2015.
The decrease, according to the report, is the result of the introduction of antiretroviral therapy in 1995.
