Cubs fans at Hob Nob Sports Grill react as their team wins the World Series for the first time in 108 years

Two World Series trophies will soon be housed in Arizona.

The first trophy is currently housed at Chase Field won by the 2001 Diamondbacks.

Now, the 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series trophy is hitting the road and will make a stop in Mesa. The team announced a tour of the trophy beginning in Chicago on Dec. 9.

After stops in multiple Midwest cities, the trophy will reach Sloan Park in Mesa just in time for spring training.

The Cubs have trained in Mesa for more than 50 years and moved to their newest location at Sloan Park in 2014.
