Is Arizona Ready To Be A Big IT Player? Is It Already?

Paul Atkinson/KJZZ

Lists of regions considered high-tech hotbeds often include the same names: Silicon Valley, the Research Triangle of North Carolina, the Route 128 corridor in Boston.

Rob Atkinson is the group’s president. When Atkinson looked at IT jobs and the industry itself across the country, he discusses what kinds of things he was looking at and what he was hoping to find.
