The National Archives and its Arizona counterpart have created an Arizona Capitol Museum exhibit on the Bill of Rights. It’s set to open Thursday — exactly 225 years after the ratification of the first 10 amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
The exhibit is called "The Bill of Rights and You" and will be located on the third floor of the museum in Phoenix.
Exhibit co-curator Jennifer Johnson says the exhibit illustrates how each amendment protects U.S. citizens, and how Americans exercise the rights outlined in the amendments.
“The Bill of Rights and You” is set to run well into 2017.
