Brnovich Asks Trump To Kill Clean Power Plan

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is asking President-elect Donald Trump to dismantle President Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan.

That rule requires states reduce carbon emissions from power plants by 30 percent by 2030.

The letter to the Trump transition team, signed by 24 states, urges Trump to issue an executive order declaring the rule unlawful and to end the ongoing litigation over it.

Arizona is one of the states that sued over the plan earlier this year.
