Workers Install Giant Dome Over Chernobyl Nuclear Site

Crews recently finished moving a giant shelter into place, covering the reactor at Chernobyl, which was the site of a nuclear accident in 1986.

Its goal is to stop radioactive material from seeping out.

Joining me to talk about the process of designing, building and moving this structure is Mike Pasqualetti. He's a professor in the ASU School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning and co-director of the Energy Policy Innovation Council there.

Pasqualetti talks about the new shelter being put on top of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor.
