A FedEx truck stolen Tuesday has been recovered.
The Glendale police department said the vehicle was found only a couple of blocks from where the truck was stolen.
Neighbors notified police when they saw an abandoned FedEx truck in the area, running and with the back door open.
Department spokesman, Sargent Scott Waite, said it’s likely the two suspects abandoned the vehicle quickly after the theft and took as many boxes that they could with them before they fled.
But, there was some good news for those worried about their packages.
“A majority of the packages were still in the FedEx truck,” Waite said. “They have to do a full inventory to see exactly which ones are missing.”
Waite said they do not currently have any suspects in custody.
