Does Making Snow Make Sense For The Valley's Water Supply?

We’ve seen a little bit of the wet stuff around the Valley this week and more is in the forecast. But when high temperatures are in the 60s and 70s, the wet stuff is rain.

So what are you supposed to do if you want a White Christmas? You may turn to someone like Nolan de Graaff, who is president of Ice Now. This time of year, the company provides snow for large events.

We spoke with de Graaff about his business, and we checked in with Jeff Lane of SRP to find out whether the snow wastes any of the Valley’s water supply.
