Tyler Kost, who was once accused of sexually assaulting several classmates at Post Butte High School has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
The Pinal County Attorney's office says that Kost pleaded guilty to six felony charges, including three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor and three counts of child abuse.
Kost will face between three and more than seven years in prison at his sentencing in February. He’s already been in jail nearly three years on the charges.
Kost was once charged with about 30 counts. But the case took a dramatic turn after his defense lawyers contended that social media accounts of the accusers proved that some of the Poston Butte High School girls lied about the assaults and conspired against him.
